The Kasliwal family were invited to Jaipur by the royal house of Amber in 1700 and moved into this haveli in 1852. Upstairs, craftsmen sit cross-legged on cushions, cutting and setting stones and enamelling 22-karat gold in the meenakari tradition. Jackie Kennedy came in 1962, Charles and Diana in 1991.
